A far right organisation that was established in 2014. It was the initiative of far right activist Bernard Gaynor. Like many other far right organisations, it claims to be a champion defender of veterans and serving members of the Australian Defence Force. It identifies its main concern as Islam and is focused on preventing its spread in Australia. It advocates forceful assimilation and deportation of Muslims.

Although posing as a moderate conservative organisation, DEFCAN is closer to the far right. It is known for its Christian fundamentalist beliefs as well as its opposition to immigration and multiculturalism. Much of the groups online activism and propaganda is highly Islamophobic and homophobic. It is barely active outside of the Internet.
