Jim Savage

Savage is a far right politician from the Sunshine Coast. Savage originally worked as a oil and gas industry negotiator in Papua New Guinea. He entered politics on the far right, joining the nationalist One Nation party. He served as the party leader in 2013 before being replaced by Pauline Hanson the following year.

Savage has been involved in several grassroots anti-Islamic campaigns, targeting mosques and also, more broadly, immigration. He has close ties to the far right group Restore Australia as well as the PDLA.
