McBryde is a long time far right white nationalist activist. He was involved in the founding of a small neo-Nazi organisation by the name of Klub Nation, in which he was a leading figure and intellectual. The group attempted to infiltrate and take over the Chippendale-based Humanist Society of New South Wales with no success.

McBryde has since thrown in with the anti-Islamic movement, joining Nick Folkes and his Party for Freedom. He was also involved in the Protect Penrith Action Group, which is active in protesting the proposed Islamic centre in Kemps Creek.
McBryde has continued to remain a shady figure in Australia’s fringe right. His new interests have led him to Donald Trump, being spotted at several pro Trump events, including the Aussies for Trump party on the eve of the US election. McBryde and a few of his buddies thought it a ripper to turn up to Sydney University’s Manning Bar in MAGA hats chanting “grab the pussy” at a bunch of teenage & 20 something year old women.

The bloke has thrown in with the newly emerging Australian alt right scene, doing his best to enmesh himself in its upper echelons of this small subculture. It was suggested by rival hardened Nazis at UNA that McBryde is one of the key figures behind the alt right white nationalist media group The Dingoes.
